Deep Sleepers—Week 11

If you play in a deep league and have matchup dilemmas or a bye week issue, take a look at these Week 11 Deep Sleepers. This list consists of players that can provide a one-week boost based on their respective matchup.

Quarterback
John Urzua, Middle Tennessee at Marshall
It is a roll of the dice to start Urzua in Week 11, but Marshall’s defense gives up 35.0 PPG.
Gardner Minshew, East Carolina v SMU
If Minshew gets the start, he’ll face an SMU defense that gives up 32.7 PPG and over 250 passing yards per game
Hasaan Klugh, Charlotte vs Rice
Rice gives up 50 more yards per game (558.3) than the second-worst defense in the nation (Oregon-535.2).

Running Backs
Tion Green, Cincinnati @ Central Florida
Teammate Mike Boone has been ruled out for this week’s game with a foot injury.
Marcus Marshall, Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech
Marshall returns just in time as Dedrick Mills will serve a two-game suspension.
Justin Goodwin, Rutgers at Michigan State
Goodwin is coming off back-to-back games in which he’s totaled at least 130 yards of offense.

Receivers
Kevin Stepherson, Notre Dame vs Army
Stepherson has earned the starting X WR position as Torii Hunter has been moved to the slot WR.
Todd Boyd, Georgia State vs UL Monroe
In Connor Manning’s last two starts, Boyd has caught 16 passes for 209 yards and a TD.
Austin Duke, Charlotte vs Rice
See Hasaan Klugh above.  The Owls have the second-worst pass defense in the FBS (335.2 pypg).
