Waiver Wire—Week 13

Skyler Howard, QB-West Virginia
Howard was 15-of-23 for 198 yards and two touchdowns relieving injured starter Clint Trickett in West Virginia’s 26-20 loss to Kansas State last Thursday.  The Mountaineers play at Iowa State in Week 14, so fantasy owners will benefit from a nice matchup should Howard earn the start against the Cyclones.
Cyler Miles, QB-Washington and CJ Brown, QB-Maryland
Check the availability of these two guys in your waiver pool for no other reason than their Week 14 matchups.  On Saturday, Miles and the Huskies play at Washington State and CJ Brown and the Terrapins host Rutgers.  Both players are early Week 14 Sleeper Pick candidates.

Devin Chafin, RB-Baylor
Chafin has scored at least two touchdowns in three consecutive games and has topped 100 yards in two of those three games.  In Week 14, you can expect Chafin to receive another healthy dose of carries when the Bears host Texas Tech.
Jalin Marshall, WR-Ohio State
There is very little to look at when you consider Marshall’s body of work throughout the 2014 season, but catching ten passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns in the past two games is significant given some fantasy owners’ desperate need for WR production.

Stephen Anderson, WR-California
Anderson has hauled in at least five passes in three consecutive games and has scored in three of his last four games.  Owners feeling a little light at receiver should consider adding Anderson in Week 14 as the Bears play host to BYU.
