After four consecutive sub 21-point performances, Broadway seems to be back on track and after a Week 9 showdown with Arkansas State, the schedule opens up nicely down the stretch.
Next three weeks: Arkansas State, South Alabama, and New Mexico State
Terron Ward, RB-Oregon State
Fellow running back Storm Woods left Thursday’s game with a knee injury and his availability for the Beavers’ upcoming game at Stanford in unknown. Ward may not offer a ton of fantasy value this week, but upcoming games against California and Washington State makes the junior running back a tempting addition.
Next three weeks: at Stanford, Cal, Washington State
Zach Langer, RB-Tulsa
Langer has established himself as Tulsa’s workhorse back, totaling 56 carries in the previous two games and has topped 100 yards both times. The Hurricanes do finish with three of their five remaining games on the road, but Langer does provide another FLEX option in deep FBS leagus.
Next three weeks: bye, at Memphis, SMU
Cameron Stingily, RB-Northern Illinois
Stingily was listed on our waiver wire a few weeks ago after he returned from injury, but three consecutive sub-par performances likely landed him back in the waiver pool. On Saturday, Stingily ran for 133 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in a 51-41 win over Miami, OH. This week, expect similar numbers from the senior running back when the Huskies travel to Eastern Michigan to take on the Eagles.
Next three weeks: at Eastern Michigan, bye, at Ball State
Tyler Ervin, RB-San Jose State
Ervin has been impressive in back-to-back games for the Spartans, running for 96 yards on 22 carries this past weekend at Wyoming, and rushing for 133 yards and a touchdown two weeks earlier against UNLV. The path is clear for Ervin to carry the running duties as Thomas Tucker is out indefinitely with a foot injury and Jarrod Lawson will miss the next five games while serving a suspension.
Next three weeks: at Navy, Colorado St, at Fresno State
Wendell Smallwood, RB-West Virginia
West Virginia running back Rushel Shell injured his ankle in Saturday’s game against Baylor and he availability for the Mountaineers’ upcoming game at Oklahoma State may not be determined until the end of the week. If you play in a Power 5 league and own Shell, consider adding Smallwood as insurance this week.
Next three weeks: at Oklahoma State, TCU, at Texas
Andre Davis, WR-South Florida
We listed Davis as one of our Week 8 Sleeper Receivers and he rewarded fantasy owners that took a chance on him by catching six passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns. Davis has now given the Bulls’ offense a legitimate receiving threat, catching 12 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns the past two games.
Next three weeks: at Cincinnati, Houston, bye
Be sure to check previous Waiver Wire reports for additional names that may still be available in your league.
