Waiver WireWeek 11

Marquise Williams, QB-North Carolina
Williams is a dual-threat quarterback who accounted for three score this past weekend against Virginia.  If you are looking for an upgrade at quarterback during the playoffs, Williams’ schedule looks favorable the next three weeks (@ PITT, ODU, DUKE).

Shock Linwood, RB-Baylor
If Lache Seastrunk and Glasco Martin cannot play next week, Linwood becomes an intriguing running back option when the Bears host Texas Tech.

Rod McDowell, RB-Clemson
Chances are pretty good that many fantasy owners soured on McDowell as the 2013 season progressed, but a recent resurgence makes him a hot waiver commodity.  In Clemson’s past two games, McDowell has rushed for 231 yards and has scored four touchdowns.

Anthony LaCoste, RB-Air Force
LaCoste was listed in our Emergency Starters last week and rushed for 177 yards in the Falcons’ 45-37 loss at New Mexico.  Air Force is on a bye next week, but a matchup against UNLV in Week 13 makes LaCoste an attractive waiver addition for owners planning ahead.

Javorious Allen, RB-USC
We were hesitant to list Allen last week because his touches were limited at Oregon State, but after another productive week we cannot deny the sophomore’s big-play ability. In the last two games, Allen has rushed for 268 yards and scored six touchdowns.

Malcolm Brown, RB-Texas
Brown may be available in deeper leagues because he was sharing running back duties with Johnathan Gray in the Texas backfield, but an Achilles injury has sidelined Gray for the season and Brown’s workload should increase.

Nate Phillips, WR-Arizona
Phillips has not had a 100-yard receiving game this season, but he has caught a touchdown pass in five consecutive games.

Levi Norwood, WR-Baylor
The Bears have lost Tevin Reese for the remainder of the regular season with a dislocated wrist and Norwood figures to fill the void.  Last Thursday against Oklahoma, Norwood caught four passes for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ 41-12 win.

Kenny Lawler, WR-California
The 6-3 freshman receiver has caught 12 passes for 126 yards and five touchdowns in the Bears’ previous two games.

Tracey Moore, WR-Oklahoma State
Fantasy owners have not had a lot of success with Oklahoma State receivers this season, but Moore has caught three touchdowns in the last two games.  Plus, teammate Josh Stewart is questionable to play next week with an ankle injury.
