The season is shrinking….and fast. We are coming into the home stretch for most leagues with the playoffs only 5-6 weeks away. It’s time to fill in the missing pieces on your roster with this week’s Waiver Wire report.
Jaquez Johnson, QB-Florida Atlantic
Johnson has rushed for a score in four straight games and has six passing touchdowns in the past three games. Keep your eyes on the Owls schedule because they have a couple of nice matchups in the coming weeks against Southern Mississippi and New Mexico State
Dak Prescott, QB-Mississippi State
Prescott has rushed for over 100 yards and two touchdowns in three of the Bulldogs previous four games. A Week 12 matchup against Alabama may be the only obstacle to avoid.
Silas Redd, RB-USC
Not only did Redd make his season debut this past Thursday against Arizona, but he carried the ball 19 times, while teammates Tre Madden and Justin Davis combined for only 14 carries.
Jarrod Lawson, RB-San Jose State
Lawson has rushed for 187 yards and added another 103 receiving yards, while scoring three touchdowns in the Spartans previous two games.
Marteze Waller, RB-Fresno State
Waller seems to have taken over as the lead back in the Bulldogs offense, as he has rushed for 252 yards and four touchdowns the past two games.
Tyler Winston, WR-San Jose State
Winston has emerged in Noel Grigsby’s absence by catching 14 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in the last two weeks.
Adam Humphries, WR-Clemson
The Tigers have a game-breaking receiver in Sammy Watkins, but Humphries has recently emerged as Tajh Boyd’s top possession target.
Shane Williams-Rhodes, WR-Boise State
Williams-Rhodes leads the team in receptions (40) and leads the team in receiving touchdowns (4). In the past two games, the diminutive sophomore has hauled in 22 receptions.
